Canterbury Visit Part 2

This entry has some photos I took to work with photographic compositions.







This chapel stored the supplies for the hop hoodening.


It was quite ornate and beautiful.
 



They performed the blessing in the main part of the church.
 


This is the memorial chapel to Thomas Beckett who was killed in the church.
 

There were some lovely windows in the church. You can see Henry VIII below.
 

Queen Victoria is on the right below.
 



Outside there was an herb garden for the original monks.
 

They have planted herbs that would most likely have been grown in the middle ages.
 

The garden also contains ruins.
 


The garden had hops growing in it.
