Canterbury Part 3 (of 3)

Outtside in the court yard there were many details that caught the eye. Like this door handle for example.




The abstract nature of the ivy on the wall was lovely.




Eventually we re-entered the church. The Hop hoodening was finally over so we could see the part of the church that had been closed off until then. The clergy straightened things up and we went into the back to see the famous tombs.



The seats were so beautifully carved.









This is the tomb of the Black Prince.
 




These medallions represent the signs of the zodiac.





So those are a few of the images I took in Canterbury Cathedral.
