Progress Report - Almost Finished Art Car
Well, another day another trip to Michael's. At least I'll have to make one tomorrow!! I checked out the headdress and it works...
and began gluing the last pearls and diamonds to the bumper, but it turns out I did not buy enough even on the last (about the 6th trip) to the craft store, so tomorrow it is back for more boas (for the inside dash board) and pearls for the back bumper! Here is how it looks out in the sun light. (Unfortunately the shots are washed out - I'll have to try again in the shade!)
At least you have a sense of the scale here!
Here is a close-up of the geaddress. Those are flowers hanging down in front which I manufactured to look like the glowers onthe side of the car. I knitted the centers and made the petals out of tissue paper glued to foil. They get a bit lost in all the other stuff up there. Too bad!!
Better images of the headdress can be found in the post below this one.

Hi, ChrisB It never seems to be finished!! I guess after Saturday I'll stop worrying about it so much!
Excellent! and beautiful.
Wouldn't it be fun to keep playing with the feminine iconography and work a Jane Avril-New-Bohemian type of picture?
I'm just sayin.'
(grinning)
I love the headress!
