Shawl Progress

So, I managed to catch the cold that is going around, so I am mostly sleeping and doing a little TV watching and knitting here and there.  Here is the progress on my shawl.  It was getting so large by clue 4 that I decided I would have to skip clue 5 and 6 and move on to 7,8,9 and 10 (because  it would have been more than 6 feet long after blocking if I had knit all the clues.)

Here is a closer view of the current pattern, which I am having to modify since it doesn't line up right anymore with the other motives.

You can see the beads a little better here. I put typing paper under parts of the shawl to show off the pattern a bit better.

Sweater Update

So I've done a 24 inch diameter (of a 40 inch diameter necessary for completion).

I pinned it out on the bed to see if I had problems with the petals "bagging". So far so good. The blue section is where the sleeves will go. (You can see the sleeve place on the left but not the one on the right.) Click on the image to enlarge and you can see some of the lace pattern in the beige sections.

Free Form Lace Scarf

I finally got around to blocking my freeform lace scarf (well most of it).

It isn't quite dry yet.

Did this doodle today too!

Preview - Free Form Lace Scarf

Well, I finished the knitting part and now just have to do the blocking.

I'm not sure what I think. We were encouraged to do a free form edge, but it looks raggedy to me.

Maybe blocking will help.
