Current Knitting Project

Here's some yarn I didn't know what to do with. I guess it is going to be a scarf.

New Project

I'm trying to use up some yarn that doesn't seem to have much attraction quality. It is a nice silk blend, but the colors just aren't terribly exciting, so I decided to do another Swing scarf project and so it seems to be looking better paired with a brown yarn.  Here is what it looks like.

Swing Scarf Finished

I finished up the scarf from the Swing Knitting™ class , so I thought I would put it up on the blog. I'd like to put a couple of tassels at the bottom, but I don't have quite enough yarn, because I decided to make a hat with the left overs.

I had hoped to do a beret, but I didn't have enough yarn, so I ended up with a little skull cap. (I'd like to put a tassel on it too, so I'll keep my eye open for some yarn of a close color.

Here is an additional shot of the cap, which I also did in the Swing™ method.

Free Form Lace Scarf

I finally got around to blocking my freeform lace scarf (well most of it).

It isn't quite dry yet.

Did this doodle today too!

Preview - Free Form Lace Scarf

Well, I finished the knitting part and now just have to do the blocking.

I'm not sure what I think. We were encouraged to do a free form edge, but it looks raggedy to me.

Maybe blocking will help.
