Puzzle Repair

So, I love wooden jigsaw puzzles, but they are expensive.  I decided to buy a couple on ebay with missing pieces and see if I could manage some kind of replacement pieces. IT turned out to be pretty bad, but here is my first attempt.

Here is the puzzle with the repaired pieces inserted.

Here is a close up of the pieces. They aren't very delicate, but I think they do the job.
