Sundry images from various visits

This image is from a Jack the Ripper Walk. It is the White Chapel neighborhood that the Ripper visited or perhaps lived in.

I love this watch out for the pigeons sign on the street.

Another famous home.

White chapel still has the over worked and the underemployed.

This is John Bennett, who is a famous Ripperologist walking through one of White Chapel's streets.

After the walk, Violet and I visited a lovely Greek restaurant for a fantastic meal.

We also saw some interesting places. This is an old livery company that is still going strong.

This is me standing on the corner of our block.

This is the hat I got in Portobello Road.

This is a cool backpack - but it wasn't very rugged - the zipper has already gone out.

This is where Dick Whittington lived when he was mayor of London.

I thought these windows were pretty, but don't remember anymore where they were.

I pass by this furniture fairly regularly. It is colorful and unusual.

This is the  Ministry of Defense, I think. It has interesting sculptures  that look very much like Epstein.
