Spring Garden

We are just waiting for the snow to melt, although it hasn't stopped us from our longings to garden. This year we got snow so late (and lots of it) so it has taken a long time to find the ground beneath it!

April 20th I took some preliminary shots that showed the state of things.

Six days later the snow had diminished considerably. On the 20th I was very excited to see that my wild tulips were beginning to come up.

On the 26th I discovered one bud on whatever these little white flower things are and of course 3 days later there were buds all over them!/

There was still snow in the yard, (And still is even today in the far south part of the yard), but it is melting fast.
